Every component of “Which Finger Where?” is designed to engage with a student’s pre-existing sense faculty. It is not merely an academic approach, but an experiential one. “Which Finger Where?” introduces new concepts without definition; it is predicated on the notion of experiential synergy. The literary and/or sonic components of music should extend into an individual and vice versa. This results in a “synergetic inter-extensionality” whereby musical concepts become extensions of unique self. Most importantly, the experientially synergetic approach helps to insure that a student’s musical experience is an existentially healthy one.
